Using Dynamic Split and Stretch Markers to Quantise Audio in Reaper!

In this video I meander around various subjects including:

• Using Stretch Markers to Quantise Audio to the Grid.

• Using Dynamic Split to Insert Stretch Markers at Transients.

• Using Dynamic Split to ACTUALLY SPLIT AUDIO.

• Whether it is always WISE to quantise.

As always, I appreciate your feedback, especially the comments that say: “WORST TUTORIAL EVER JUST GET TO THE POINT ALREADY.”

Here’s a quick custom action tutorial. Zoom to midi items, quantise, then humanise. I really like the humanise function in Reaper, as it avoids quantised notes layering up exactly on top of each other, and gives the mix a bit more breathing room.
